Security Officer- As Needed

As a Security Officer – There is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• At least 3+ years Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience (preferred)
• State license if required
• Active DCJS
• At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• Able to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Outgoing with excellent customer service and communication skills
• Open availability (mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends)
• No face, neck, or hand tattoos
• Able to maintain GardaWorld's grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $22.00 / Hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Schedule

Schedule will be as needed based on site needs. The ideal candidate will have open availability (mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends). Full time hours are not guaranteed.
