Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to facility staff, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and public agencies when required.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation; maintain assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
