As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual activity, assist with access control practices, and provide visible support during busy shopping periods and/or special events.
• Interact with customers and employees in a courteous manner while helping to address security-related issues, support de-escalation efforts, and follow post orders for retail operations.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$22.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Monday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Friday: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Saturday: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
