As a Security Officer Armed - Site Monitor in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution construction location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution construction location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of construction areas, temporary offices, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized personnel and deliveries, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
