Security Officer Armed Secret Clearance

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an armed patrol professional.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and help support compliance with location rules for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Support reporting and recordkeeping by completing incident reports, shift activity logs, and other required documentation related to daily operations and/or security-related events.

Requirements

• An armed guard card is required.
• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Minimum of 2 years law enforcement, corrections or military background.
• Possess a Secret Clearance.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to respond calmly to emergencies.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response activities.
