Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, data-sensitive areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior, equipment concerns, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders and client-facing expectations.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a visible presence, handling assigned equipment responsibly, and completing required reports related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or daily operations.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to respond calmly to emergencies.
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Ability to conduct patrols and monitor access points.
