Security Officer Armed Perimeter Patrol Security Clearance

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading tech location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an armed post at a technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and sensitive infrastructure to help to deter unauthorized access, support badge and visitor verification, and report unusual conditions.
• Support incident reporting, shift pass-down communication, and other assigned security-related duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and client policies.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
