About the role
As an Armed Perimeter Patrol Security Officer in Oklahoma City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established armed post procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity; report unusual conditions and follow site-specific escalation procedures.
- Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity reports, in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
- Walk and stand for long periods of time.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay
$23.60 per hour.
