About the role

As an Armed Patrol Surveillance Security Officer in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. This part-time position offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.

Requirements

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$24.00 / hour

Schedule

• Wednesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
