Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out assigned procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including lobby areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and report unusual behavior, suspicious items, or policy violations according to post orders.
• Support cash handling and other sensitive operational areas through visible presence, attention to security-related procedures, and timely reporting of incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.

Requirements

• Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
