Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in Birmingham, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Maintain visibility to help reduce security-related incidents, support access awareness across the property, and ensure a professional environment for daily operations.
- Carry authorized armed equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and post orders while maintaining readiness to respond to security-related concerns at the location.
Requirements
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Have access control or badge experience preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
