About the role

As an Armed Patrol Security Clearance Response Security Officer in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with emergency responders when appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
