Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials when required, and support visitor, delivery, and after-hours access protocols for the location.
• Assist with alarm response, medical-related calls for service, and other urgent events while maintaining a visible presence and following post orders, use-of-force guidelines, and applicable laws.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.
