Security Officer Armed Patrol Position

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Serve in an armed post while following all applicable post orders, use-of-force guidelines, and weapon handling protocols, helping to support a professional presence at the location.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with directing employees, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.
