As a Security Officer Armed Patrol - Grocery Retail Site in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for shoppers and employees. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, store associates, and visitors by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and appropriate authorities.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, while handling assigned equipment in accordance with training and company policy.

Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour
