As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver State License in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to passengers, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at public transportation locations.
- Respond to incidents, service disruptions, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, vehicle yards, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned locations, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity reports, while coordinating with Allied Universal leadership and local authorities as needed.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Possess a 40 caliber endorsement.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
