Security Officer Armed Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor access points, conduct routine armed patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report concerns involving restricted areas, deliveries, or after-hours activity.
• Support site operations by observing for equipment issues, environmental concerns, and/or policy violations, then communicating findings through required reports and chain-of-command notifications.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
