Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Enhanced Part Time

Allied Universal® offers a flexible, dependable part-time enhanced security officer position designed for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career. As an Armed Mobile Patrol Enhanced Part-Time Security Officer in Effingham, SC, you’ll have a fixed base schedule with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts for increased earnings and varied experience.

This role requires a six-month commitment to your designated site and weekly shift. Through our Claim-A-Shift program, you can scale your hours from part-time to full-time (up to 40 hours per week) based on your availability.

Pay

$18.90 / hour

Schedule

• Daytime shift on Wednesdays: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Flexible additional shifts available through Claim-A-Shift program

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident activity.
• Maintain a professional presence while adhering to applicable laws, company policies, and site-specific post orders.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
