Security Officer Armed Licensed Patrol Driver

About the role
As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for staff and visitors. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized individuals by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$21.50 / Hour

- Monday: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
- Friday: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
- Sunday: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
