Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Full Time Perimeter in Deerfield Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support people with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government-related location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to regulate entry and exit activity according to site instructions, reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Support law enforcement and/or first responders during emergencies, alarms, medical calls, or evacuation events while following Allied Universal and site protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess 1 year of armed related, corrections, law enforcement or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license and unarmed guard card.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
