Security Officer Armed Full Time Patrol

About the role
As an Armed Full Time Patrol Security Officer in Fairfax, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role supports patients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and policy violations.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site requirements.
Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- At least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
Pay
$21.74 per hour.

- Wednesday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
- Thursday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
- Friday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
