Security Officer Armed - Flexible

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and other security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with management and public emergency services when appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Guard card in Texas.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Pay

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

This role requires a six (6) month commitment to a fixed-shift, with the option to pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.
