Security Officer - Armed Flex

About the Role

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring an Armed Response Security Officer. This is a flex role, not full-time, with a competitive hourly wage of $31.00. The position requires adaptability, as duties will vary depending on the day and special events, ranging from customer service to patrols and surveillance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols to spot suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Requirements

• MUST HAVE LEVEL 3 ARMED LICENSE AND VALID DL
• Military or Law Enforcement experience highly preferred
• ASSOCIATES DEGREE OR HIGHER and 5 YEARS OF ARMED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED IF ABOVE REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT MET
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Responsive and strong problem-solving skills
• State license if required

Qualifications

• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
