Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation skills and contacting local law enforcement and/or medical personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify authorized access, and document security-related events, observations, and/or incidents in required reports.
• Serve in an armed patrol role in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal standards, maintaining professional presence and readiness while helping to support staff, patients, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
