Security Officer Armed Entry Driver

About the role

As an Armed Security Officer at a residential community in Boca Raton, FL, you will monitor access points, verify visitors, and conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols to help maintain a welcoming environment. This driving post calls for professional communication, visible presence, and prompt response to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit activity at the residential community, verify authorized access, and maintain required visitor, vendor, and delivery records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with residents and site management, document incidents and observations accurately, and complete required reports.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$21.00 / hour

• Thursday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Friday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
