Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol

About the role

As an Armed Driver Patrol Security Officer in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as automotive. This part-time role allows you to build a flexible schedule using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at an automotive parking facility by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, vehicle access concerns, customer disputes, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of parking areas, vehicle ramps, entrances, exits, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe vehicle and pedestrian activity, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations.
• Maintain accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal policies.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$24.41 per hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
