Security Officer Armed Driver Field Patrol

About the role

As an Armed Driver Field Patrol Security Officer in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, observe for potential theft, trespassing, and/or policy violations, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or local authorities as needed.
• Support access control and vehicle or foot traffic flow at entry points, delivery areas, and restricted spaces while documenting incidents and completing required reports.

Requirements

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

$26.50 / Hour

• Monday: 01:45 PM - 11:30 PM
• Tuesday: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Saturday: 01:45 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sunday: 01:45 PM - 11:30 PM
