Security Officer Armed Driver Entry Authorization

About the role

As an Armed Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location in El Dorado, AR, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and provide professional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with established site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records; issue and retrieve access credentials as directed by site procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, surrounding areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Pay

$22.00 per hour.

• Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
