About the role

As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location in Orlando, FL, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post combines customer service, clear communication, and integrity while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business offices, customer areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
