What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and public emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report access control concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support force protection and other security-related operations by maintaining a professional presence, following post orders, and completing required reports and logs in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
