Security Officer Armed Defense Tech Site

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic location supporting critical operations. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a specialized industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site leadership and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support authorized entry and exit procedures for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or vehicles in accordance with site protocols.
• Support daily security-related operations by preparing reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.

Requirements

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills

• Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
