Security Officer Armed CPO Full Time Patrol

About the role

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and irregular conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Requirements

• CPO certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED (proof required by the client).
• At least 21 years of age.
• Armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
