Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed CPO Driver Patrol in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.   • Tuesday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Saturday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Sunday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to enforce location rules, and address trespassing, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations in accordance with post instructions.
  • Support emergency and after-hours operations by assisting with alarms, escorts, lock and unlock procedures, and coordination with local law enforcement and/or first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Possess a CPO certification.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have a valid driver’s license.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
