As a Screener in a government location, you will help support security-related screening operations, manage access points, and interact with visitors and staff with professionalism and clear communication. This is an armed post, offering the opportunity to apply your experience in a highly visible role.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control duties, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen visitors, staff, and permitted items entering the location by using assigned screening equipment, reviewing credentials, and following established security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited item discoveries, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate channels.
• Monitor entry points and conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas and the perimeter, as post instructions and location conditions require.
• Document screening activity, visitor interactions, and unusual events, and communicate clearly with site personnel, the public, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Have 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
