Security Officer Armed Clearance Required

About the role
As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access and activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This role calls for strong communication, sound judgment, and a commitment to teamwork and integrity while delivering exceptional customer service in a high-profile environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
- Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
Requirements
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
- Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
Pay Rate: $21.12 / Hour
Schedule
- Wednesday: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
- Friday: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
