Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver at Allied Universal in Culpeper, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. This is an armed and driving post offering the chance to support critical operations while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

• DayTime: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, helping to document events and communicate with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, potential hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and/or vehicle entry in accordance with post instructions for a highly regulated location.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and post orders, and complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and/or shift handoff notes.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
