Security Officer - Area Patrol - Full-Time

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Area Patrol in El Cajon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed conditions and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols and posted instructions.
• Observe equipment areas, exterior gates, and common spaces for suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, and communicate findings through required reports and verbal updates.

Requirements

• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
