Security Officer Alarm Monitor Center - Overnights

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location as an unarmed officer, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a financial institution location by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the lobby, offices, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site expectations, and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Support day-to-day operations by assisting staff and visitors with directions, responding to questions, and maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
