Security Officer Alarm Console Patrol

The role is a Part‑Time Security Officer Alarm Console Patrol in Florence, NJ, supporting a technology‑focused location in the tech, media, and telecommunications industries. This position provides flexibility through the “Claim a Shift” platform and emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior work areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity, reporting unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Alarm panel experience (preferred).
• CPR/First Aid experience (preferred).
• Access control/badge experience (preferred).
• Loss prevention experience (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

$18.74 per hour

Daytime – Friday 01:15 AM – 09:15 AM; Saturday 01:15 AM – 09:15 AM
