Schedule & Pay
- Position Type: Part Time
- Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour
- Schedule: Day Time, Wednesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Friday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site access-control procedures and applicable screening requirements.
- Inspect packages, parcels, and other items entering or leaving the facility, following established protocols and reporting irregularities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, operational spaces, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
