About the role
As a Security Officer - Afternoon Residential Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in residential communities. You will provide a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle, deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service to residents and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential community areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with community policies; document and report policy violations, incidents, and suspicious activity.
- Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$20.60 / Hour

- Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
