Security Officer Afternoon Bike Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Cyclist in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, observe on-site activity, and assist with visitor access and/or general inquiries while supporting daily operations at the location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
