As a Security Officer Active Patrol in Los Lunas, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Pay Rate: $18.69 / Hour

Schedule

• Monday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thursday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Friday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Saturday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sunday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, badge access activity, and/or visitor traffic while following post orders and escalation protocols for security-related concerns.
• Support day-to-day location operations by remaining visible, assisting with directional requests, and reporting maintenance, life emergency, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
