What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor and vendor access, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of gates, dock areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity.
- Support trailer yard, shipping, and receiving operations by observing vehicle movement, checking required paperwork, and reporting security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
