Security Officer Access Credentialing

About the role
As a Security Officer Access Credentialing in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. You will help maintain a welcoming, security-related environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and monitoring access activity. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and help deter incidents through a professional presence.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
- Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
- Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and delivery activity to help support controlled access to production, warehouse, and administrative areas.
- Respond to access control concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.
Requirements
- Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license (preferred).
- Have access control and/or badge experience (preferred).
- Possess CPR certification (preferred).
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
