Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Newnan, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery drivers by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location in accordance with posted procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related events in required logs and reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Support front gate and/or lobby operations by directing foot traffic, processing visitor check-in, issuing temporary badges, and communicating with site contacts regarding access requests and deliveries.

Minimum Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
