Security Officer Access Control Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical processing location.
• Monitor and document the entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries, helping to support authorized access throughout the location.
• Verify identification, credentials, and/or visitor logs while communicating post instructions and reporting unusual or suspicious activity through proper channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or public emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, the business, and the perimeter to help observe conditions and support security-related operations.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
