Security Officer Access Control Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the financial institution location by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel and guests.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Monitor entry points, alarm panels, cameras, and other access-control systems; report irregular activity, equipment issues, and policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated interior areas, entryways, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
