About the role

As an unarmed Security Officer Access Badge Driver Patrol in El Segundo, CA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a commercial real estate location. Your role includes remaining visible to deter security-related incidents, supporting access awareness, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post that keeps you active while working as part of a reliable team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and sharing information with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures, and help deter unauthorized access while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, report hazards and/or policy concerns, and communicate clearly with supervisors, tenants, and local responders regarding security-related matters.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.65 per hour.
