Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Authorization in Gibbstown, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor alarm panels, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, delivery personnel, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
- Observe entry points, loading areas, and restricted spaces for unusual activity; report access concerns, policy violations, and maintenance issues according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, access points, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
